Images by Larry Randel >> 2008 Norfolk, VA Nauticus Museum featuring the USS Wisconsin BB-64. After the USS Wisconsin pictures are some pictures of the museum displays. Finally, I took a 2 hour cruise up the James River to see the Norfolk harbor and the Norfolk Navy Base viewed from the water. There are pictures of just about every ship type in the Navy. The pictures toward the bay show the location of the battle between the Monitor and CSS Virginia.

The museum ship and memorial honors not only the men and women of our modern US Navy, but also recognizes the accomplishments of those who help build and maintain the Navy's ships as well.
